Payments are live: Stripe, PayPal and Tap inside WhatsApp
Orders placed in chat can be paid with the gateways Gulf merchants actually use - with more gateways on the roadmap.
From 'send me the link' to checkout in chat
A customer orders a product or service in the chat, the order is created in the store, and the payment link - Stripe, PayPal or Tap - is generated from the same conversation. The merchant approves, the customer pays, and the order updates in the inbox without anyone copying numbers between apps.
- Stripe, PayPal and Tap gateways live today
- Payment links generated from chat orders and invoices
- Order state visible in the shared inbox
- GCC-friendly gateways (Tap) alongside global ones
Roadmap honesty
Our integration pages mark the live gateways and the roadmap gateways separately. Salla and Zid store-native payments, plus the Zid and Salla marketplace apps, are roadmap items - when they ship, the pages and the changelog will say so.
Stripe, PayPal and Tap are live for orders and invoices inside WhatsApp. Salla and Zid payment integrations remain on the roadmap until they are actually available.
