Wutt handles your customer conversations, contacts, bookings and orders. This page explains how that data is protected — in plain language, without marketing fluff: encrypted in transit, access-controlled at rest, backed up, and never sold or used to train third-party models.
Data in transit
All traffic to and from Wutt is encrypted with TLS. WhatsApp messaging goes through Meta's Cloud API under WhatsApp's end-to-end-encrypted transport; Telegram messages are protected by Telegram's own transport encryption. Your workspace session uses encrypted connections throughout.
- TLS encryption for all traffic to and from Wutt
- WhatsApp messages via Meta Cloud API under WhatsApp's transport encryption
- Telegram messages under Telegram's transport encryption
- HTTPS everywhere on the public site and app
Access control
Workspaces are private: every team member signs in individually, and you control who can see chats, contacts, bookings and settings. Invited members see only what their role allows. Sessions expire and can be revoked at any time from the workspace.
- Individual sign-in for every team member
- Role-based permissions for chats, contacts, bookings and settings
- Expiring sessions that can be revoked at any time
- No shared passwords, no implied access
What we never do
These are commitments, not fine print.
- We never sell your contacts, chats or order data
- We never send messages from your number without your workspace action
- We never use your customer conversations to train third-party models
- We never share your data with other Wutt customers
Storage and backups
Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers with regular backups. Backups are restored only for recovery purposes and are not used for analytics or marketing.

- Regular automated backups
- Backups used only for recovery, never for analytics or marketing
Compliance
Wutt is designed to work within WhatsApp and Telegram's terms, including WhatsApp's Business and Commerce Policies. You own your opt-in consent records; the WhatsApp policy compliance guide explains the responsibilities that sit with every business using a provider. Wutt adds zero markup on Meta conversation fees, so message billing is always what Meta charges.
Vulnerability reporting
If you believe you have found a security issue in Wutt, contact support with the details. Please include the affected area, the steps to reproduce, and the impact you observed. We respond, we fix, and we are transparent about the outcome.
