The short answer
WhatsApp conversation fees are Meta's per-conversation charges for business-initiated messages, in place since November 2024. US rates are $0.025 for marketing, $0.004 for utility, and $0.004 for authentication; service conversations inside the 24-hour window are free. Rates vary by destination country, and providers like Wutt may add markup — Wutt adds none.
How the bill is built
Your Meta bill is the sum of every conversation, by category and country.

Country tiers matter
