Wutt passes Meta message fees through at cost - no markup, ever

Message fees are billed by Meta at Meta's rate. Wutt adds no margin - the line item on your invoice is exactly what Meta charged.

The two-part bill, made simple

Every WhatsApp API platform has two cost layers: the platform subscription, and Meta's per-message fees. Many providers resell those Meta fees with their own margin on top - often called a per-conversation markup. Wutt's pricing policy is that Meta fees are passed through at cost, with no markup added.

  • Platform: Wutt from $11/mo, flat and published
  • Meta fees: billed by Meta at Meta's current per-message rates, passed through with zero margin
  • No per-conversation pricing in Wutt plans - the platform price is the platform price

Why the markup quietly doubles WhatsApp bills

At 1,000 conversations a month the markup on Meta fees is small. At 5,000 or 20,000 conversations it can exceed the platform subscription itself. Comparing only the advertised seat prices - $49/mo here, $55/mo there - misses the fee structure entirely, which is why our pricing pages show Meta fees separately on every comparison.

  • 1,000 conversations/mo: $11/mo with Wutt, Meta fees billed at cost
  • 5,000 conversations/mo: $99/mo with Wutt, Meta fees billed at cost
  • 20,000 conversations/mo: $299/mo with Wutt, Meta fees billed at cost

What this means for your invoice

Your Wutt invoice shows the platform price, and Meta bills the message fees at Meta's rate. There is no line item for a reseller margin, and no volume-based surprise in the platform price. Meta's rates do change - we track them in the pricing guide and re-verify every comparison page quarterly.

The takeaway

Wutt's no-markup policy exists because the single biggest hidden cost in WhatsApp CRM pricing is the margin resellers add to Meta fees. We removed it by construction: the platform price is flat, and Meta fees stay at Meta's rate.
